Looking For The Words

Looking For The Words hides real words inside a block of letters and asks you to trace them out. Drag across letters in a straight horizontal or vertical line, and when the sequence spells a valid word the letters lock in and turn colour. Each stage lists the words waiting to be found, so progress is a matter of reading the grid carefully rather than racing a clock.

This title is best suited to players who want a quiet word search with no clock attached.

2. Scan the grid rows and columns for a promising starting letter
3. Drag straight across or down through the letters in order
4. Release to lock a valid word, which changes colour
5. Find every listed word to finish the stage

Objectives

The run ends or fails when

• No fail state. Wrong traces simply do not lock, and the stage waits for you.

• Straight-line letter tracing across rows and columns, with valid words locking on release.
• Found words recolour so the remaining grid stays readable.
• Stages gate progression on completing the whole word list rather than on a timer.

• Look for uncommon letters first; they narrow the possible words fast
• Check columns as carefully as rows, since vertical words hide better
• Say the target word aloud and hunt its first two letters as a pair
